Resources for New Employees
When new employees join the university community, they often look to their manager for assistance and guidance during the transition.
In a supervisory role, you want to make your new employees feel at home and welcome. It's your responsibility to facilitate their seamless integration into the workplace and to make sure they have all the tools and information they need to start off on the right foot.
Be sure to take the time to introduce new employees to colleagues in your department and show them around the campus. If the employee is new to the area, encourage them to explore and point out all the exciting opportunities available to them both on campus and throughout the region.
