There’s no better time to b’more involved in Baltimore. Faculty, staff, and retirees can contribute to the Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund during the United Way campaign to fully fund grants that assist nonprofits’ efforts to build stronger neighborhoods by addressing needs in the areas of community revitalization, education, employment, health, and public safety.

A video brings new energy, excitement, and awareness to the program. If you take a moment to watch the video, it’s easy to see that the Neighborhood Fund is a meaningful way to support our neighbors. Visit http://hopkinsworklife.org/neighborhood-fund to watch the video.

Since its inception in 2007, $1.5 million have been awarded. Over time, we can see the impact of the Neighborhood Fund through the organizations’ incremental progress as they develop important programs and resources that make a difference.

How can you b’more involved? During the United Way campaign, designate your pledge to the Neighborhood Fund. You can also consider sponsoring the grant application of a local nonprofit working to make Baltimore stronger.
