New Health Care Benefit Program Available as Part of Your Benefits Package

This year, a new service called Managing Cancer at Work (MCaW) will be added free of charge to the benefits package for Johns Hopkins employees.

This one-of-a-kind program developed by a team at Johns Hopkins is designed specifically to help employees who want to proactively prevent cancer, as well as those of you who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis or caring for a loved one with cancer. The program offers information on a full range of cancer care that covers prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship.

In addition to an extensive and up-to-date web-based educational program for employees and managers, Managing Cancer at Work also provides access to a Johns Hopkins Oncology Nurse Navigator who specializes in supporting and advising cancer patients. Accessing online information or contacting the nurse navigator is confidential and free of charge. Simply call Maria Borsellino at 410-955-6229 or email her at managecancer@jhmi.edu.

To learn more about Managing Cancer at Work, visit http://managingcanceratwork.com/ and use the pin number 6229 to access the employee and manager sites. There you will find videos and other media that explain how the program can help you.
