Updates to the JHU 403(b) Retirement Plan – Participants Must Take Action
We are about to begin our annual benefits enrollment period for health and life plans (from October 14 through November 11), and this year we are updating our 403(b) retirement plan providers and investment options - as well as introducing an online enrollment portal to help make retirement planning easier to manage. If you are a current 403(b) Plan participant, you must take action during this time to retain your current investment elections.
Retirement Choice: Learn. Plan. Act. In mid-October, you will receive by mail a Retirement Choice Decision Guide, which will include step-by-step instructions for making your Retirement Choice decisions. In addition to receiving the Guide, you can access even more information at:
- The myChoices tab at benefits.jhu.edu. View the Guide, Frequently Asked Questions and other resources.
- Retirement Fairs on October 22 at Homewood and October 27 in East Baltimore. Learn more about the Retirement Plan changes, the new online portal and speak with our financial vendors.
- Town Halls. The schedule is posted on the myChoices tab. If you’re unable to attend, you may view the recorded FastFacts found on the Benefits website.
We look forward to sharing more with you about the changes ahead. If you have questions, please call the Benefits Service Center at 410-516-2000, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (ET) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
