Johns Hopkins receives national recognition for work-life progress

For the third year in a row, Johns Hopkins University and Health System has been recognized with the 2015 Work-Life Seal of Distinction award by the national organization WorldatWork Alliance for Work-Life Progress (AWLP). The Office of Work, Life and Engagement demonstrated a strong portfolio of programs and services that assist faculty and staff in achieving work-life fit.

Johns Hopkins is among a select group of private and public organizations from across the country recognized for demonstrating leadership in work-life effectiveness. Our workplace programs and practices were evaluated based on the breadth and depth of our work-life portfolio which demonstrates proficiency in areas spanning dependent care, health and wellness, workplace flexibility, financial support, paid and unpaid time off, community involvement, and efforts to transform organizational culture.
