It’s never too early to start saving. One of the best things you can do to ensure financial security in the future is to enroll in the JHU Retirement benefits program.

Use the latest retirement education tools to help you plan and make the most of your retirement benefits:

  • FastFacts: There are a wide variety of FastFacts available on the Benefits website. Some great retirement planning topics include What You Need to Know About IRAs, Five Habits of Highly Successful Investors, Are You on Target?, and Save for Tomorrow, Start Today. You can access these and more anytime throughout the year.
  • Retirement Checklist: The Retirement Checklist walks you through important steps and stages in the path to retirement. Using simple action items, you can see what you have accomplished and what still needs to be done in order to reach your retirement goals.
  • Investment Provider websites: Depending on your current retirement plan elections, your investment provider may offer useful, user-friendly tools and resources through their website. If you haven’t already, you can easy get to your provider’s site from the Retirement page of benefits.jhu.edu and to get started.

In the coming months, we’ll be updating and enhancing our retirement program and the online experience. Now is a good time to review your retirement benefits and assess your savings goals for the future.
