myWellness Choices 2014

Throughout 2014, the Benefits Office will showcase—monthly by topic—wellness programs and resources available to help employees stay mentally, physically and financially fit. Topics range from weight loss to stress management, debt reduction to retirement planning. See the myWellness Choices Calendar, on the Benefits website, for the 2014 list of wellness topics. Throughout the year, be on the lookout for tools, resources, programs and contests that will help you stay motivated and fit.

For the month of January, spend a few minutes getting familiar with the wellness tab on the Benefits website. There you will find information and resources on prevention, healthy living, education & learning, care management and financial health. While you are there, check out the wellness app and interactive web widget of the month. We will be highlighting different apps and web widgets throughout the year.

To kick off a year of wellness, Charlene Moore Hayes, Vice President of Human Resources, shares her personal weight loss story in the most recent Gazette. It’s a must read story that might encourage and motivate others to make new wellness choices in 2014. If you have an inspirational wellness story that you’d like to share with us please email wellnessprograms@jhu.edu.
