The Office of Work, Life and Engagement is offering two opportunities in March to help you learn more about grants available from Johns Hopkins Live Near Your Work (LNYW), participating neighborhoods, and incentives offered by Baltimore City. Click here to learn more about the program.

  1. Live Near Your Work - Come Home Baltimore
Come Home Baltimore is a leader in Baltimore in providing high-end, luxury homes with standard features like granite counters, stainless steel appliances, master bedroom suites with walk-in-closets and more! They combine the Historic Property Tax Freeze with an abundance of grant monies (including a location in the $17,000 LNYW tier) to allow most buyers to purchase 2-story and 3-story homes with $1,000 out-of-pocket and payments between $900 - $1100/month! Just blocks from Johns Hopkins Hospital, close to downtown, minutes from the new eateries and retail outlets off Broadway, 5-minutes from the new Henderson-Hopkins school, and a short walk to Eager Park (Baltimore's newest large public park). You will also learn from Sandy Jenkins, Coordinator of the Johns Hopkins Live Near Your Work Program, how you may qualify for up to $17,000 in grants. Lunch will be provided.

Upcoming Classes: 03/04/13 in East Baltimore and 03/26/13 at Homewood
