Calling all Chefs, Bakers, and Tasters

What: Annual Johns Hopkins Chili Cook-Off and Bake-Off

When: Friday, November 9, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

Where: Glass Pavilion, Levering Hall on the Homewood Campus (Shuttle service is available between campuses.)

Enter your chili or baked good free of charge. Special guest judges will announce prizes for first, second and third place around 12:45 pm. Contestants are also eligible for a “People’s Choice” award in the chili and baked good categories based on the popular vote.

For $5, spectators can enjoy lunch and vote for their favorite chili and baked goods (while supplies last). Lunch, sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Credit Union, includes chili, cornbread, dessert and a beverage.

All proceeds benefit United Way of Central Maryland and the Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund. Register at www.jhu.edu/unitedway.
