Heidi Conway was appointed JHU's Vice President for Human Resources on November 1, 2015.

In collaboration with executive academic and departmental leadership, Heidi is responsible for setting the human capital vision and strategic human capital priorities for the university to ensure alignment with its education, research, development, and operational goals and objectives. Heidi leads the HR team in the planning, design, development and implementation of all HR practices, policies, and programs across JHU.

In her more than 10 years at JHU, Heidi has served in several key leadership roles in Human Resources. In July of 2014, Heidi was promoted to Associate Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. She was responsible for the overall operations of human resources with direct oversight of business services, HR finance, payroll shared services, benefits, compensation, human resource information systems and talent management.

Heidi joined the university in 2005 as the Sr. Director of Benefits. Prior to joining JHU, she also held several roles of increasing responsibility in human resources at Harvard University where she served as Associate Director.

Heidi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from New England College and holds a Master of Science degree in administrative studies from Boston College.
