WageWorks Filing Deadline (March 2013)

April 30, 2013 is the deadline for submitting 2012 claims to WageWorks for your health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts. Eligible health care and dependent care expenses must have been incurred from January 1 - December 31, 2012. Participants with remaining balances will need to complete the appropriate Pay Me Back form in order to receive reimbursement. Participating in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a great way to save money in 2013. There are two types of FSAs that you can choose to participate in as an eligible full-time faculty or staff member:
        • Health Care FSA
        • Dependent Care FSA

Based on your anticipated health care and dependent care needs, you make pre-tax contributions out of your paycheck each pay period to your account(s). Then, you use the money in your account(s) to pay for eligible health and/or dependent care expenses throughout the year. Some examples of eligible Health Care FSA expenses include:
