Staff, Faculty, and Students Provide 800 School Uniforms to Support Baltimore City Students (October 2014)

Baltimore City Public Schools has turned to Johns Hopkins to support families who cannot afford the required student uniforms. Since 2011, thanks to the generosity of the Johns Hopkins community, we have met the need. During the 2014 Johns Hopkins Adopt-a-Student Uniform Drive, 400 students from 78 Baltimore City Public Schools were sponsored, providing students with two new uniforms each, to allow them to start the 2014-2015 school year prepared and ready to learn.
