Breastfeeding Support Program Expands (November 2015)

As part of the comprehensive program supporting breastfeeding mothers at Johns Hopkins, three new Mother's Rooms have opened on the East Baltimore Medical campus: Weinberg 2339, Halsted B186, and 1830 East Monument building, Room 511.

Employees needing to use any of the Mother's Rooms should register with the Breastfeeding Support Program at Up-to-date information about the rooms and other aspects of the program will be provided via email once the registration form is received.

Breastfeeding Support Program (March 2015)

This year the AWLP also honored Johns Hopkins with the Innovative Excellence Award for our Breastfeeding Support Program. This program has built an infrastructure of support for new moms from the beginning of breastfeeding through the first year of work postpartum. The Office of Work, Life and Engagement offers support through 14 Mother’s Rooms across campuses, breast pumps for a reduced price, and a vending machine with breastfeeding supplies.
