Summer Camp Discoveries Fair

The Office of Work, Life and Engagement will hold its annual Summer Camp Discoveries Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, in Turner Concourse on the East Baltimore campus. The fair is designed as an opportunity for families to meet with local and regional camp organizations and groups offering summer activities for children age 4 to 18. Both day and overnight programs will be represented, as will camps for individuals with special needs.

Earned Income Credit

Employees may be entitled to claim an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) on their 2014 federal and Maryland income tax returns if both their federal adjusted gross income and their earned income is less than:

  • $46,997 (for married filing jointly $52,427)- if you have three or more qualifying children
  • $43,756 (for married filing jointly $49,186)- if you have two qualifying children
  • $38,511 (for married filing jointly $43,941)- if you have one qualifying child
  • $14,590 (for married filing jointly $20,020)- if you do not have a qualifying child

United Way pledges directed to the Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund help local nonprofits build stronger communities. Organizations within the Live Near Your Work footprint or a ¾ mile radius of certain Johns Hopkins campuses that provide services focused on community revitalization, education, employment, health, and/or public safety are eligible for funds.
