Congratulations to our 12 iPad2 Winners!

Many of you have reached out to us to inquire about who won the iPad2 gifts that were generously donated by our partner, TIAA-CREF Financial Services, and we are happy to share that information with you. For the Fall Financial Education Seminars the nine lucky iPad2 winners were from School of Medicine (3), Academic Centers (3), School of Public Health (2) and Carey Business School (1). For the Financial IQ Challenge, an astounding total of 6,446 quizzes were taken! So many of you showed great financial acumen, but the top-three winners were from School of Medicine (2) and University Administration (1). Congratulations to all on a job well done!

If you didn’t get a chance to take the quiz, we’ll be offering new opportunities for you to put your financial know-how to the test and to win prizes. In the coming months, we’ll inform you about these new opportunities and how you can participate.

If you weren’t able to attend the seminars, we invite you to view the Benefits FastFacts of these presentations, available online at The FastFacts presentations cover several important retirement planning topics, including “Staying On Track in a Volatile Market,” “Save for Tomorrow, Start Today” and “Ready, Set, Retire.” The latest presentations include, “Charting Your Financial Course: A Guide for Women” and “What You Need To Know About IRAs.” To access the presentations, go to the retirement tab on the benefits website and scroll down to the Online Financial Education Series section.

Again, thank you for attending, and congratulations to all of you who participated and to the 12 lucky winners!
